Achievements of Sachin Tendulkar
He captained
the Indian team at the age of 23. He scored a century in the first match as the
Captain of India. At the age of 19, he became the youngest player to score 1000
test runs, during India’s tour of South America (1992 to 1993). During his
school days, aged 13, Sachin’s score read 27 no, 126, 207 no, 346 no and the
now famous 329 no in the finals which involved a record unbroken partnership of
164 with childhood friend Vinod Kambli….. Sachin’s average in school cricket
read a mind boggling 1034. In 1989, at the age of first 6 years and 205 days,
he became the youngest player to play at the test level for India against
Pakistan and Karadi. He scored his first test century at the age of 17.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

The
2011 ICC Cricket World Cup was the tenth cricket world cup. It was played in
India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh was co-hosting a World cup for the first time.
All the matches in the World cup were accorded One-Day International Status
with 50 overs. Fourteen national cricket teams competed in the tournament,
including ten full members and four associate members.
