Prologue

Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence. In other words, it is war minus the shooting.

Facts by Jeeva Niranjan

Some Facts About The Number 10

When we see the number 10, the God of Indian Cricket “SACHIN” comes in our mind, because:
      His jersey number:                               10
        His strike rate in world cup:                 91 = 9+1 = 10
        His age when India conquered
the world cup:                                               37 = 3+7 = 10
Date on which India won the
world cup:                                                     02.04.2011 =                                                                                2+4+2+0+1+1 = 10
That was the 10th World Cup which was dedicated to…….. ’10’dulkar……….
        Last, but not the least……..
At the last ball of the final game in the world cup, M.S.Dhoni and Yuvraj were batting for India.

        M.S.D’s no: 7
        Yuvi’s no:    12        = 7+1+2 = 10

Sachin the God of Indian Cricket

Achievements of Sachin Tendulkar
He captained the Indian team at the age of 23. He scored a century in the first match as the Captain of India. At the age of 19, he became the youngest player to score 1000 test runs, during India’s tour of South America (1992 to 1993). During his school days, aged 13, Sachin’s score read 27 no, 126, 207 no, 346 no and the now famous 329 no in the finals which involved a record unbroken partnership of 164 with childhood friend Vinod Kambli….. Sachin’s average in school cricket read a mind boggling 1034. In 1989, at the age of first 6 years and 205 days, he became the youngest player to play at the test level for India against Pakistan and Karadi. He scored his first test century at the age of 17.
